It is not enough for us to install Energy Star certified products in the field. We will be opening up our solar power division in the last quarter of 2009. In keeping with the title Marietta Home Improvement, we will be reducing energy bills and adding equity to homes. The systems we plan on installing cost between 6 to 8 thousand dollars. On the positive note though, they will pay for themselves on average, in 6 years time. Keep in mind that with the ever increasing costs of energy, a solar powered hot water heating system has the potential to pay for itself 5 times over. With the latest legislation passed by the Georgia House, the market is now poised to take off. Even though the gas prices have gone back into hibernation these past few months, our Marietta Home Improvement practice is still going forward with our solar power division. We want to be the front runner when the market does decide that it needs green solar technology.
